Can a lawyer help after an ATV or side-by-side fire?
A lawyer may help you understand your options, save evidence and deal with insurers. Every case depends on its own facts.
Can I still have a claim if the recall repair was done?
Possibly, depending on the facts. A completed repair does not automatically end a claim, and it does not automatically create one. We can review it with you.
Does a recall mean my vehicle caused the fire?
No. Whether a recall issue played any part in a particular fire usually takes an expert inspection of the vehicle.
Should I keep the burned vehicle?
Yes, if you can. Don't repair, sell or scrap it, and don't hand it to an insurer, dealer or maker before talking to a lawyer.
Is there a deadline to file a claim?
Yes. Deadlines vary by state and type of claim, so it is best to ask a lawyer soon.
What does a case review cost?
Nothing. You pay no attorney fee unless we recover money for you. Depending on your fee agreement, you may be responsible for case costs and expenses.
Do you handle cases outside Utah?
Sometimes. Nuttall Brown & Coutts is a Utah law firm with no offices outside Utah. If your case is outside Utah, we may work with a local attorney licensed in your state, as allowed by local rules. If we do, we will explain how the work and fees are shared, and nothing happens without your written consent. If we can't help, we will tell you.
Questions after an off-road fire?
Burned in an ATV or side-by-side fire, or caring for someone who was? Tell us what happened and we will review it for free. You decide what happens next.
